Time for a RAK! :-)

Check it out! You are the first to hear! I have a brand new release and guess what? I got the idea from YOU - yep, I love to take what you tell me in your comments and do something with it. One of you wrote (and I'm going to have to go look to see who it was....) that you wanted something that looks like what you see when you walk in the woods in the winter time. So, that's what I did!

Tell me what you think! I'm very excited about this kit. The preview just doesn't do it justice and I redid it several times trying to make it look better.....sigh.

This kit contains six papers and 20 elements! The elements are: two frames, two folded ribbons (1 with stitching); a bare branch, an almost bare branch that has a few leaves hanging on for dear life, a sweater fabric piece with a flower attached, wrinkled notbook paper, a large pine bough rubon, a torn piece of paper, two different pieces of green masking tape, a file tab, a button, mesh, a folded note, a wrapped ribbon (I just love these!), a ripped and curled tag, and ripped cardboard paper piece. Hi Everyone!
Remember last month when I asked for your help in naming a kit? And the winner of the naming contest got this kit for free. And then I couldn't announce it right away because it was for a special event that wasn't announced yet. So, here is the deal. I make kits for DSS that honor either one of their CT members OR one of their staff every month. It is a secret until announced in their newsletter. At the time I was waiting for the newsletter to come out because it is a surprise to the person being honored. :-) Well, the newsletter was released and then things got crazy and I never got the name of the kit posted. BUT....better late than never, right?
During all the name submissions, there was one that made me laugh out loud when I read it. So, that is the one I ended up going with.

Well, I've been out of town "working" the last week so you haven't heard from me. I had wanted to get this posted before I left but things got crazy - you know how it goes. And wow...I forgot what it was like traveling with a baby. Since I'm still nursing, Natalie had to come with me. Well, someone had to watch her while I was working those days so DH came too. Well, couldn't leave Kaia at home alone so she came too! LOL And then it just so happened that my mom and hubby were up there at the same time so I had the whole family. It was fun. Had a good time and will post pictures on my family blog as soon as I get time.......

But I have lots of news that I'll separate into different posts so it is easily viewable and more reader friendly! :-)

The next "Thinking in...." color is.....

he he! You didn't think I was actually going to tell you, did I? ROFL! Ok, I'm in such a teasing mood. I've had three people request Turquoise/Teal. So that is next! In fact, it is almost done. And then hmmmm....I'm liking the idea of Indigo too. Or....hmmm....need more ideas for boy colors. Maybe a dark fall green? If you have more color ideas...let me know. And it doesn't have to be just one color, give me a color scheme....Leave me a comment or look in the sidebar for my email! I love getting email from you....so don't hesitate!

And what are your favorite elements right now - what are you using a lot of? Me? I can't seem to do a layout without using a swirl or some kind, so right now there is always a swirl in my kits that I design. Oh - and I'm loving frames. I scour web site for really cool frames...LOL What about you? What is your favorite element?
