Glitter Glitter Everywhere!

Sprinklings of glitter are everywhere! Remember that? When we used to do all this scrapbooking, rubber stamping, and collage by hand? Not digitally? So, I've been playing with glitter a lot lately and guess what??? Its not EVERYWHERE!!! It isn't stuck to my face. It isn't stuck on my clothes, it isn't everywhere! And I for one....am happy about that! Ok, so I haven't introduced glitter to my daughter yet. Hmmmm....might have to brace myself for that. But while we are the subject of glitter....want some more glitter notes? Don't forget about the egg glitter notes below. Scroll down to get those. But here are some fun squiggle notes with fun butterfly glitter sprinkled on the edges. These would be fun for adding sparkling (and oh, yeah...journaling too!) to any layout!

I got a lot of comments on the Spring Word Frames below. Lots of you wanted the frames in "boy" colors and with the words separate so you could interchange them. What great ideas and I certainly will honor those requests. In fact, it won't be too long. So keep watching my blog and I'll have them up soon! Another Backpack Freebie! :-)

I had another freebie planned for today but then my sis told me how much she liked these so I decided not to put these off any longer. So...here it is - my 2nd set of papers! :-) I've been playing around tonight and made another set and you'll see those soon. Let me know how you like these. I love the white chalked edge around the edges of these........that's my favorite part.

I know, I know....maybe one day I'll do an actual kit instead of sets of things. But these sets of papers and elements are soo much fun. And as other designers will tell you, when you create something you like, you go on a roll and make bunches of them.

Spring Freebie for Tuesday! :-)

Hi again - So it is still only Monday here in Alaska but I thought I'd get ahead of schedule.....I created these last week in preparation for spring freebies. Things are just starting to melt (and cause lots of puddles and flooding) here in SE Alaska, and I'm sooo ready for spring! Spring colors are also easy for me to work with - it is my favorite time of year and my favorite color scheme. So be prepared as I create more wonderful freebies for you. I have a paper set coming tomorrow.....(oops, I mean Wednesday!). But until Wednesday, check out these cool word frames. Doesn't the white text look like puff paint? That's what my daughter said when she saw them. :-)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

Hi Everyone! Guess what? As a lot of you know (from my sister's blog) today is my birthday! Gosh, I'm feeling really old. Nobody told me that happens at 32.....hmmm...maybe being 8 months pregnant has something to do with the way I feel. LOL

My sister's easter eggs inspired me to create some too. And I've been wanting to do something with ruled paper for a while so here is a great freebie for you.....

Hi Everyone! I hope everyone is having a good week. I am! Had dinner with girlfriends tonight (sooo don’t get to do that enough!), got some designing done last night, and am going to bed at a decent hour tonight! Had fun surfing and finding new things to create for all of you too! Now, if I could just get blogger to work and cooperate all the time and also if I could just find someone to lobby for putting more hours in the day…then ALL would be great!

Here is your latest freebie. I’ve been messing around with making papers and these are my first. I’ve created a few other sets for all of you that will come up in the next week……also have some new frames, some more grungy swirls, etc.

I think these papers turned out great! I love the grungy black edging and the papers are in colors and of a type that can be used in lots of different layouts. They would look great with for all those guy layouts, don’t ya think?

Did you have a good weekend?

Hi Everyone! I hope you all had a good weekend. I did....except that I didn't get 1/2 of what I wanted to do accomplished. But in all my 8-month pregnant laziness, I did get some good ideas for what I'm going to design for all of you this week. And I know you are going to love it. And boy oh boy - were there some good freebies online this weekend or what? Wow - I found lots of great ones. I haven't had time to keep up with others' freebies here on my blog since I started designing for all of you but I hope that maybe this week, someone will do something about there only being 24 hours in the day......what do you think? Do you think someone will take care of that for us this week? I can only hope.....LOL!

Last week I offered boy words and I got a lot of requests for girl words. Well, no fear cause they are here! :-)

Designing and Creating......

Hi Everyone! Happy almost Friday! :-) I'm sooo excited for Friday.......

I created my Volume 2 of grungy swirls for all of you - the response to the set a few days ago was incredible. All your awesome comments and the amount of downloads just blew me away. I figured that told me I should create you some more, huh? Well, I did....... But.....as promised, first I must give you the swirls created below ungrunged (is that a word???). For those of you who like un-grungy swirls, here you go! I hope you enjoy them......

I went shopping today....

Are all of you sick of arrows yet? According to your comments, you aren'tand you are all loving them. But I gotta be honest. I gotta stop doing arrows for just a bit and hit ya with something else. But before I take a break from arrows, I gotta give ya one last taste of them - I created these at the same time as the rainbow felty arrows. Aren't those colors just yummy? And get this...you get a whopping 28 arrows in this pack!! Now, no fretting, I'll do arrows again but I'm just arrowed out for a bit. Next time I do arrows, I'll make them just as yummy but have patience cause you know I'll come up with something good!

BAD Blogger……..bad, bad, bad!!! I created this awesome, long post and when I was done with it, pressed publish, and it errored on me several times and continuously for a whole 24 hours!!!! Oh…that makes me angry! Ok – enough of that. I had wanted to tell you all happy stuff so here goes – I’ll try and re-create.

I mentioned in my last post a few days ago that I’ve been on a creative streak – well, it has continued and I have sooo many freebies for you that I’m having a hard time restraining myself from putting them all up here at one time. Tribute to Chris Ledoux

This I just have to share with you. Two years ago yesterday was the passing of music performer Chris Ledoux. My sister’s family is, and always be, huge fans of Chris and as a tribute to him, my sis has created this great mini kit below. And in tribute to my sister’s family and their love for this man, I created a layout for them using all the pieces in my her mini kit in addition to several of her other designs.

Snowed out here in SE Alaska......

I had to travel for work this last week and I got snowed out! Blizzard conditions kept me from being able to fly home and oh, man....I was having some major digi scrapping withdrawals! But I'm back now and I'll have freebies up for you momentarily...........maybe some layouts too!
